Heavy Duty Adjustable Halter
These are heavy-duty, adjustable noseband halters built for durability and everyday use. Constructed with Biothane webbing and stainless steel hardware, these halters are designed to hold up in tough conditions. Nothing is sewn, we use heavy copper rivets for maximum strength and long-term reliability.
Custom Leather Noseband (+$25)
Add a custom leather noseband with your donkey’s name. Each noseband is hand-stamped on 5-8 oz veg-tanned leather, dyed with saddle tan leather dye, and highlighted to bring out the lettering and border detail.
Be sure to include your donkey’s name in the order comments.
Custom Design & Materials Note
This is not a traditional all-leather halter. We use a heavy-duty 1" wide Biothane base for strength and longevity, with a hand-stamped leather noseband over the top for appearance and personalization. The Biothane sits against the animal, providing a smooth, durable contact surface.
If you’re looking for a fully leather, high-end halter, those typically come at a significantly higher price point. This design is built for everyday use, weather resistance, and long-term reliability, while still offering a sharp, customized look.
Leather Care
The leather nosebands are made from veg-tanned leather. We recommend sealing the leather with Sno-Seal or a similar leather protectant to help extend its life.
Fit & Sizing
We build our halters in standardized sizes (Mini, Small Standard, Standard, and Mammoth). Donkey head shapes can vary, so a small adjustment is sometimes needed.
If the fit isn’t quite right, please contact us and we’ll work with you to get it dialed in. Sending a few photos of your animal wearing the halter is very helpful in ensuring the best possible fit.
