Our Guarantee

Built To Last

Mountain Ridge Gear is proud to provide gear that’s built to last and that is American Made. We stand behind our products and anything you buy from us will out-last and out-perform similar products built overseas. Period!

Guaranteed for Life

Our products have a lifetime guarantee for defects in materials and workmanship. If you find a defect, we will replace or repair your product for free.

Shipping Times

We are a small business with a handful of highly skilled employees.  We build in small batches to ensure the highest quality.  We strive to get orders out as soon as possible based on the order they are received.  However, if an item is not immediately available on the shelf we build it.  In those instances your order could take 10 - 14 business days to ship.  In most cases, your order will ship less than 10 business days.  However, during times of high volume, orders may take longer.  If you need an item by a specific date please indicate that at checkout and (depending on order volume) we will try and move your order up in the queue.

Returns

We understand that buying expensive gear on-line without laying your hands on it first is a leap of faith. If, for any reason, you decide the item you purchased is not what you were looking for you may return it for a full refund (minus shipping) within 30 days. The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it.

Pack Saddles, Pads, Cinches and Tack must be COMPLETELY clean, free of hair, dirt or dust.  This is extremely important to ensure there is no transfer of bacteria, viruses or diseases between equines.  If your item was used on the animal we may not be able to except a return.  Please call 719-749-2289 with any questions or concerns.

Repairs

We expect you to use our gear to its fullest extent. Even though we build our gear to last we understand it isn’t indestructible. If, during normal use, you experience an issue please contact us and we will do our best to repair your item. After all, if you figure out a way to break it, we’ll figure out a way to make it stronger.

Clean It

If you need a repair, before you return your gear please clean it. Everyone who works at MRG is an outdoorsman so we know how dirty things can get in the backcountry. We just ask that after you remove those elk quarters from your panniers you hose it out. Remember, never use bleach on nylon and avoid the dryer. Use mild soap or Borax and hang dry.

Cordura Nylon

UV rays can and will fade nylon if left in the direct sunlight over extended periods of time.

Water Resistance

All of our American Made Cordura has a urethane coating that makes it highly water resistant. During normal use you should not have to spray any other water repellant coating on the fabric.

PayPal

In addition to the purchase guarantee we offer our customers, when you use PayPal to pay for your order, your purchase is further protected with their Purchase Protection guarantee.
