Built from Real-World Experience
The Mountain Range Travel Bag was originally designed with one goal in mind—to fit under an airline seat while standing up to constant travel.
While serving in the Air Force, I traveled frequently and ran into the same problem over and over—bags didn’t hold up. Zippers failed, seams wore out, and most were made overseas with materials that couldn’t handle real use.
So I built my own.
After multiple design iterations, I developed a bag that could withstand the abuse of constant travel while staying compact and functional. Fellow Airmen quickly took notice and began asking for their own.
That demand led to the start of Mountain Ridge Gear.
Today’s version of the Mountain Range Travel Bag stays true to that original design, with thoughtful upgrades to materials, strength, and organization—while maintaining the same purpose-built durability that started it all.
