This is a tough case! It is modular so that it can be attached to the TMP, TMB or most tactical packs. The 10 rows of Molly allow the mounting of other pouches on the outside for power cords or other small items. The MRG Tactical Laptop Case features a clam shell design so that it can be fully opened. This is very useful if you plan on carrying documents or a few folders inside with your laptop. The bag is lined with waterproof pack cloth and anti-absorbent, ¼” closed cell foam to protect your equipment.

Accommodates most standard sized laptops.

A Quality Laptop Case!

In searching for a laptop case to use with my Kifaru Maurauder backpack, I considered many vendors including Diamondback Tactical and Tactical Tailor. However, the cases offered by these vendors did not meet my specifications, and I was referred to Mountain Ridge Gear. It was a pleasure to deal with Eric, as he was willing to manufacture a custom case to my specifications. Overall, the case’s rugged construction duplicates Kifaru’s legendary craftsmanship. Logically yet simply designed with ample padding, the case has PALS webbing on both sides for the attachment of pouches. Due to its ample size, I ultimately ordered a case as described. Finally, Eric provided me with two “dock and lock” straps to easily secure my case to the outside or inside of my backpack. I highly recommend this quality case to anyone desiring PALS modularity and functionality.
