The admin pouch is a great companion to your pack, Messenger Bag, TMP or as stand-alone day planner.  It will accommodate a Forrest Service map, airline tickets, cell phone, iPod, keys, etc. As well as a 6 x 9 Steno pad.  It is constructed of 1000D Nylon, internal pockets are 420D pack cloth and there is also a large zippered mesh pocket.  It has a spot for your pens and pencils in the middle and a large zippered front pocket with a storm flap over the #8 coil zipper.  The 1" tubular nylon carry handle is triple bar tacked on both ends.  The Admin Pouch can be affixed to any of our bags or any tactical packs and is great to take to a meeting or for any other purpose administrative.  It's at home in the field or the office. 

The Admin Pouch is also great as a travel companion.  It accommodates an e-reader (Kindle or Nook), or an iPad and is easily removed once you are on the plane. 

For the southpaws; we place the pad and zippers on the left side.  If you've never owned a left-handed notebook it will take a little getting used to.  We have gotten lots of positive feedback from folks who have bought the left-handed version.
